The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse on the east coast of Florida, located on the property of the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The lighthouse is not accessible unless you're on an official lighthouse tour.
Canaveral Tours provides tours of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. You are transported to the lighthouse and enjoy a guided tour by lighthouse docents, sharing the history of the lighthouse, keepers and the cape. Museum and gift shop are also located on premises. The tour includes views of current and historical launch complexes while driving through the Space Force Station. Stops at the launch complexes and memorials for the Mercury and early Apollo missions give you a great opportunity to see up close a part of spaceflight history. You also get to see and hear about historic cemeteries of early settlers, wildlife on vast surroundings of the cape and operational hangers and launch complexes supporting space exploration.
Tours are scheduled weekly and are via a comfortable 10 passenger air conditioned coach. Standard tours are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and additionally most Saturdays. Group custom and private tours are available for additional dates, contact us for scheduling. Tours are available for US citizens only and require 2-day advance reservation for security clearance. Personal identification must be provided to obtain security clearance prior to tour.
Pickup and parking is at Port Canaveral Exploration Tower. Free admission to the tower is included in ticket. Tower is open from 10am to 5pm.
