The spectacular canals through the Thousand Islands provide shelter to herds of Manatee, playful Bottle-Nose Dolphin and a variety of coastal birds. Some of the birds passengers may observe while on this tour are Reddish Egret, Wood Stork, Rosette Spoonbill, Brown and White Pelican, Bald Eagle, nesting Osprey, Great Blue Heron feeding their young, Tri-Colored & Black-Crowned Night Heron, Snowy Egrets, White Ibis,Terns and Coots. Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands are to be found in the Indian River Lagoon. The Indian River Lagoon Estuary is known as one of the world's most diverse Eco-systems.
