Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is pleased to announce that the complex was named a winner in the Travel Experiences category of Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Family Travel Awards.
“Our team is over the Moon to be honored by Good Housekeeping’s inaugural Family Travel Awards,” said Therrin Protze, Chief Operating Officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. “We aim to inspire the whole family by offering educational and interactive exhibits for every generation, from climbing among the solar system in Planet Play to learning about the historic first Moon walk in the Apollo/Saturn V Center or the future of space exploration in the recently opened Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.”
Bringing the epic story of the U.S. space program to life, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers multiple days of fun, inspiration, and educational activities. Visitors can participate in various experiences like the Rocket Garden, interact with real astronauts during Chat with an Astronaut, train like an astronaut and head to Mars in the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX), and more. Cape Canaveral saw a record-breaking more than 50 launches in 2022, and with even more planned for 2023, visiting Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex could include the chance to see and feel a rocket blast off.
