Dixie Crossroads and Wild Ocean Seafood Market, both in Titusville, and Ocean Grill in Vero Beach will be featured on “Emeril’s Florida” on the Cooking Channel, a sister station to the Food Network.
Ocean Grill’s episode airs this weekend. “Some East Coast Beach and Waterfront Favorites” will air at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, 9:30 a.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Cooking Channel’s website features the restaurant’s recipe for Florida Lobster and Sea Scallop Fritters and Pepper Jelly.
The episode featuring the rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroads and the fishing process at Wild Ocean Seafood Market will air at 2:30 p.m. March 16, 9:30 a.m. March 17 and 11:30 a.m. March 20. The episode’s called “Florida Caviar, Clams and Rock Shrimp … Really?”
Lagasse taped the local episodes in November. His Sunshine State food trips also involve stops in Orlando, Kissimmee, Stuart and Oak Hill near Edgewater. The veteran Food Network star has been cooking on TV since the 1990s with shows like “The Originals,” “Fresh Food Fast” and “Emeril Live.”
“Emeril’s Florida” is in its second season.
