On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announced the Visitor Complex will close on Thursday, November 10, due to expected severe weather from Tropical Storm Nicole.
According to a release, the Visitor Complex will remain open on Wednesday, November 9, but all Kennedy Space Center Bus Tours and Kennedy Space Center Explore Tours will be closed. This includes access to Apollo/Saturn V Center, but the main visitor complex will remain open for normal operations. Guests will not be granted access to visitor complex grounds during the closure.
The safety of guests and crew members is a top priority of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Officials will continue to monitor Hurricane Ian and will provide updates as needed.

Based on the latest recommendations provided by the Brevard County Emergency Management Office, the visitor complex will be closed WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 , and will remain closed THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10 for the safety of our guests and crewmembers. Guests with reservations are being contacted.
We anticipate reopening on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11 at 9:00 AM after a thorough assessment of the property has been completed.
Those with existing reservations on NOVEMBER 9 OR NOVEMBER 10 will be automatically refunded within 1 billing cycle.
If you have purchased Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex tickets through third-party suppliers, travel agents, or tour operators please contact them directly for information regarding their cancellation or change policies and procedures.
